Have some ideas how to get this place buzzing again!!!

In all seriousness though I think a change in colour scheme is needed. Grey isn't a football colour (outside of the odd goalkeeper and possibly an away kit). Offsideref had a mini re-lauch this morning, changing various things like the user information bit (where it says the username, number of posts, age, location etc) from the left hand side of the post. It's a very suttle step but it does make the forum quite unique.

We do have a lot of very good posters. But our trouble is scaring them away. We probably need to talk to the people who have left about why they left. I spoke to Josh the Burton fan who was a very good poster, on bebo a few weeks ago advising him to come back and his just had a responce along the lines of 'you don't need me'. That's a long way from the truth as I tried to explain but he's been doing work on various sites that he's been on since the start. I don't really know what we can do about this case, but I think we need the 'old faithful' back on our side.

No offence to anyone on here, but we really need more people over the age of 20.

We could do with a couple of WUM's aswell, and not have threads where people are moaning about them like a gang of gays.

I agree with Sean, im under 20 but without getting too big for my boots i think i'm quite matture, that Burton kid really fucked me off with all his 13 year old mates from fucked up towns like fucking flockington <_<

Thought I'd bring this thread up again.

For the last two weeks, prior to yesterday, I was out of the country, on my holidays. I left no warning signs that I was going because quite simply I didn't feel there was any point.

The lack of posts obviously is a huge concern. When I got back yesterday this was my third forum that I logged on to, less than 12 months earlier it was the first - and often only place I visited due to a shortage of time - how times change.

I've always treasured this place it's been great. I moved to Yorkshire Football because I was a member on a club board & a few national forums and it was obviously different. When it changed to a national-targetted board I was equally delighted as I felt I had good expierence in that type of board.

The fact that now I log on each day and see one or two posts is awful, yes I take some blame, but it's been awfully poor. We need a change and it needs to be drastic.

It doesnt help when tommy is sending out emails from the board saying we have moved to another site, just coz he is trying to get members for another site!!

I have stripped him of all admin powers and if he breaths out of place im banning him for good!

We dont need shit like that!

Im not working the next couple of mondays so i will see what i can do about the layout and style of the board!
