Cannot log onto Xbox live, dya think it could be my Ethernet cable? Cannot think of anything else it could be.

Just tried it again after it wasn't working this morning.

Have you tried testing the connection? That should tell you what the problem is

Dashboard > system blade > network settings > test xbox live connection

hmmmm, try resetting the router (plug cable out, plug back in), techoncally it makes no sense, but it always seems to work.
