| REDS' FA Trophy tie away to Cambridge this afternoon has been rearranged for Wednesday, January 14 at 7.45pm due to a frozen pitch.
A referee's inspection on Friday afternoon at the Trademark Recruitment Stadium ruled out the game going ahead this weekend.
In other news, Crawley Town have released striker Anton Dougles and have decided to send out another forward, Nick Carter, on loan to gain first team action.
Youth team striker Mithun Nayee, who is currently on YTS forms, has been offered a professional contract at the club, starting this Monday.
Assistant manager Paul Raynor said: "The step up for Mitts is wholly recognition for his performance improvement over the last four months. Everyone is delighted for him as he works so hard but has earned a fantastic reward."
"Nick will be made available for loan and circulated to a number of clubs who I believe would have an interest. That circular will also contain a couple of other players who are also part of our first team squad." Crawley Observer. | |
